Decided to write on techical areas also on my blog which might helpful to new comers to understand........will try to be non technical way to understand easily....
COBOL: language developed for business long years back...even till now it was serving its purpose....am sure it will in future too....
In most of the domains like health care, financial, human resources etc.
Advantage was having easily understandable in english like language like move, copy, perform,linkage...
Easily coded one, debugging will be friendly in nature.
